[ Art Car Caravan 1995 ]
Around this time last year a caravan of Art Cars, automobiles decorated by their owners, trekked halfway across America to provide an on-the-road art show for fellow travelers. Filmmaker and Art Car enthusiast Harrod Blank led the way in his Camera Van.

The Caravan started in El Cerrito, California and and took on participants along the way, eventually growing in size to over thirty in Texas, where the cars participated in the Houston Roadside Attractions Parade.

This Web-Documentary showcased the cars and the individuals who created them, tracking the participants during the trip. Events and encounters from the journey were updated in our Road Log. So: check out the Camera Van Caravan and enjoy the road trip.
