Finger positions

The picture above shows the Home keys - these are the ones that your eight typing fingers normally rest on. Your first fingers rest on the F and J keys. Your keyboard probably has raised marks on it to help you find these keys. The picture is also colour-coded to show which finger must move to press a different key.
