Flex Processor Interactive Control Interface is a gesture
synthesizer. It's a synthesizer in the same sense that a Midi
keyboard is a synthesizer, except that instead of producing
realistic sounds, it produces realistic musical performance
gestures. For example, this program makes it possible to
perform guitar licks, such as blues bends, vibrato, hammer-ons,
slides and screams using standard keyboard controllers. It's
easy and fun to use, much like a video game. In fact, once you
start using this program, you may never go back to a pitch
wheel.
