The original API for PageMaker, introduced with PageMaker 5.0, is known collectively as Commands and Queries.
To use commands and queries under PageMaker 6.5, you must first acquire the CommandQuery component interface and then release it when done. If you use the PageMaker Class Library (PCL), this is handled for you automatically.
