Dooshite? (Why)

Aren't CLAMP sites hard to find? By using search engines, you might not always find what you're looking for. Frustrating, ne? One bright, sunny day the idea of gathering all the various CLAMP sites into one convenient place entered my mind, and it evolved into the idea of a comprehensible links guide...so, tada! The CLAMP Links Guide was born!


Nani? (What)

The CLAMP Links Guide is easy to use, unless you are a clueless newbie to the net. :P All my Guides for CLAMP works have a navigation bar on the top and left of the page, so its easy to get around and find what you're looking for. The navigation links should be self explanatory enough, leading to the category which you are looking for. The descriptions of links should further help in your search (such a pain to put up though), and the sites which I consider to be outstanding in some way are listed near the top of each Guide.


When?

The CLAMP Guide isn't a year old yet. I believe I started it sometime during fall of '98, with Card Captor Sakura being my first Guide. (At that point, it was only a long, long page o' links ^^;) I wasn't quite satisfied with the way it was, and I began separating each category into its own page, and I also developed a need to make them look visually pleasing as well...which brings me to...

I must admit that I'm also making this site to encourage all of the CLAMP webmasters out there to take their own sites to their full potential. Web surfers can be unbelievably lazy and a good page with content might not get the attention it deserves if it doesn't catch and hold the eye's attention. But of couse, this doesn't mean adding a 100kb image onto all of your pages will make it all better. People are going to be scrambling for their Back buttons ^^; Develop your own ideas and style and test and retest your pages until it looks good, with minimal download time. (whoa now...preach mode *off*)But I hope the 'advice' helps. ^_^
