Goldorak Commands
- "Métamorphose", if one day Actarus were to forget to
yell out this command before jumping from the Asporat and falling from
20 metres above Goldorak, he would not only fail to transmute himself into his nifty
Prince of Euphor uniform, but what's more he would smack himself out on
Goldorak's paint job and risk leaving a really nasty stain.
- Transfert, is the command that Actarus gives
to transfer control of Goldorak from the tail cockpit to the second
control room in Goldorak's mouth. For some unknown reason his seat
spins around about 15 times on its way from one control room to the other.
- Autolargue, once he's in Goldorak's mouth,
Actarus uses this command to launch the robot out of his saucer.
- Cabre, this order prepares Goldorak to be docked to another vessel,
whether his own saucer or another friendly (hopefully!) ship.
- Arrimage actually docks the robot to his saucer.
- and Ovostable is basically the opposite of Transfert, allowing Actarus
to return to Goldorak's main cockpit.
- Goldorak uses the sequence of commands Cabre, Retournement, Accrochage
to dock to Alcorak, and Cabre, Renversement, Assemblage
with Venusiak.
- Megamach fires up the super-fast speed of Goldorak while in flight.
- (Rare) Hyperm�tabolisme alters the robot's
systems allowing it to resist any freezing weapons.
Goldorak Locations
- The camp de la Lune Noire, the Végans base, located on the
dark side of the moon. When an attack is imminent, the moon reddens...
- The Centre, is Professeur Procyon's base and
the hiding place of Goldorak. In the course of the series there were two version of the centre. The first was
a normal research lab with a hangar for Goldorak,
but this version ended up being destroyed by the Végans. It was
replaced by an armed centre with defensive capabilities, as well as extra
hangers for the new ships being built. Goldorak has several exits from his hangar,
including behind a waterfall, in the woods, in the mountains,
in the ocean, in a volcano, in the frozen food aisle at the supermarket,
etc...
- The Ranch Du Bouleau Blanc, Rigel's farm (in)conveniently located near
the Centre. It's here that Actarus secretly works as a stablehand when he has spare time from saving
the world...
Other Devices
- Actarus' motorcycle, which he uses to rush
to the centre in emergencies. It's armed with a few missiles to blow away
a few enemy saucers on the way. Later in the series when he also had to get
Alcor, Vénusia and Fénicia to the centre as well, a Jeep would
sometimes also be used for this purpose.
- TheAsporat is a sort of motorcycle on rails that
Actarus uses to get from the main part of the centre to Goldorak's hangar.
