REQUIREMENTS:

        A 386 Based Machine
                DX33 Recommended, Problems may occur on slower machines

        525K Available RAM

        Joystick or Mouse

        VGA Monitor (Accelerated Card will help with slower PC's)

RUNNING THE GAME:

        Type DINO SETUP If You Want To Use A Sound Card

        Type DINO HELP For Brief Help Summary

        Type DINO PLAY To Watch The Intro And Play The Game

        To Skip the INTRO and go right to the game, 
        type MAIN MOUSE to play immediately with the mouse OR
        type MAIN JOY   to play immediately with a joystick.

        (Make sure you have set up your sound card with DINO SETUP first)

COMMENTS:

        Some PC's are really cranky with the music and/or sound. Especially
        slower 386's. If the mouse won't work, or your PC locks up,
        first try turning off the music. If it still won't work, try 
        turning off the sound. Even bypassing the intro (with MAIN PLAY) 
        sometimes will work (make sure you try turning off the music and/or 
        sound also).

        If you can't get the mouse to work at all, then it looks like you
        are stuck with the joystick. Only 1 in 50 machines seem afflicted
        with this problem, and the genuine Microsoft and Logitech mouse
        drivers seem to cause the conflict.

        Multiple joysticks have been tested. If you HAVE to use a joystick,
        the GRAVIS PC Game Pad works great !

GAME PLAY:

        Use the joystick or mouse to aim the sight at the vicious
        Purple Dinosaurs. Press the mouse button or Joystick Button 1
        to shoot.

        When using a joystick, button 2 will speed up the sight movement
        when you hold it down.

        PLEASE NOTE - If you play using a joystick, the game will not
                      play background music. It's a long story .....
        
        You have limited ammo, but there are ways to make ammo canisters
        appear. Shoot them for extra shots ! Sometimes the cannisters
        come out on their own, but there is another way to get more ...

        If you can kill 200 or more Dinos, you will get to see a
        special ending screen.

        There is a special "secret" bonus screen. Try to find it !

        Press ESC at any time to exit the game.


FINAL WORDS:

        Over fear of being sued, the author of this game will remain
        anonymous.

        This game was written entirely in QUICK BASIC, along with several
        add on graphics and sound libraries.

        This game was done in about a week, so it's obviously free. Pass
        it around to all your friends.

        Boycott COMPUSERVE. They wouldn't let us upload it because it looked
        too much like YOU KNOW WHO.

        Don't show this game to small children.
