Welcome to Axis, the GameCheater! Axis will run on most IBM compatibles and under most memory configurations. It's been tested with DOS 5.0 & 6.0, Windows 3.1, and OS/2 2.1 and has performed flawlessly. Of course, it is always possible to have a memory configuration that may hamstring Axis from functioning or prevent a game from loading. If this occurs, please re-read both your DOS & memory-manager manuals to learn of ways to make more of your RAM available. (N.B. Chapter 16, DOS 6.0 manual.) For example, running large TSRs or devices may prevent Axis from launching a game. Remove the TSRs and try again. (If you are NOT running a third-party memory manager, try running MemMaker from your DOS prompt. Freeing upper memory in this manner often allows RAM-hungry programs, such as Dune II or Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe, to run perfectly under Axis.) Also, to make Axis easier to run, add the directory containing Axis to the PATH statement in your AUTOEXEC.BAT file, such as: PATH C:\WINDOWS;C:\DOS;C:\;C:\AXIS Of course, feel free to call Baseline's technical support line and leave a message regarding your exact computer setup and we'll return your call! Play on! Baseline 1-800/926-9677 P.S. A list of games cheated can be found in the file CHEAT.TXT.
