Introduction
The Software Selections CD that comes with your IBM® computer
contains programs and device drivers that you can install on your
computer in addition to the software products that come preinstalled on
your computer.
You can install software products from the Software Selections CD
itself, or you can create an image of the CD on your hard disk or on an
attached network drive and install software products from that image.
The left panel of the window contains a menu of the functions that are
available.
To display the menu of advanced functions that are available for your
computer, click the arrow beside the Advanced functions menu item.
The following Help topics are available to guide you through the use
of the Software Selections CD:
Install programs
Uninstall programs
Note: Some software may differ from its retail version
(if available), and may not include user manuals or all program
functionality.
The advanced functions are:
Change settings
Create a diskette image
Create a Software Selections CD image
To exit from the Software Selections CD, click Exit.
