CiteMaps are interactive VRML scenes of hyperlinked 3D objects. The CiteMap Builder is designed to be very simple and easy to use, even for those with no VRML experience. The resulting 3D landscape can be traversed using any VRML97-enabled browser ñ we have included the Cortona VRML client on your CD (install it now...).

Paint Shop Pro started out as a cheap shareware graphics program and, though still great value for money, has become a serious graphics package that gives Adobe Photoshop a run for its money. Lets you do pretty much all the clever little things you could wish to create classy images and includes loads of processing tools.
This new version has an improved interface allowing easier use of toolbars. There are also loads of great new tools, filters and special effects, as well as other enhanced functions and many bug fixes. You will find various extras to go with this trial in the folder as above ñ the resource pack includes additional Picture Tubes, frames, preset shapes, masks, patterns and sample images.

The GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program) is a freely distributed piece of software (the source code is included on this CD) suitable for such tasks as photo retouching and image creation and manipulation. Though not touted as a 'Photoshop killer', The GIMP nevertheless has many capabilities. It can be used as a simple paint program, a photo retouching program, an online batch processing system, a mass production image renderer, an image format converter, etc.
The GIMP is extremely expandable and extensible. It is designed to be augmented with plugins and extensions to do just about anything. The advanced scripting interface allows everything from the simplest task to the most complex image manipulation procedures to be easily scripted. The GIMP is written and developed under X11 on UNIX platforms. Its memory managent system means image size is limited only by available disk space.
