What is FormArtist?

FormArtist emoticonsTake a look at some samples on the Quask Web site and we're sure you'll agree it can actually be fun to fill in forms.

FormArtist is a desktop software package that enables Web developers, sales and marketing staff, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and human resources professionals rapidly to create and publish Web and email based forms, surveys, e-brochures and opinion polls without any technical knowledge or programming abilities.

Creating forms with FormArtist is straightforward due to its Powerpoint like WYSIWYG drag-and-drop interface and its pre-defined style sheets, enabling forms and surveys to be created in a matter of minutes. FormArtist incorporates a comprehensive library of data collection objects, picture grids and form design features (including its patent pending interactive emoticons) allowing you to create highly attractive, visually rich forms that are more likely to encourage high response rates. You can create multi-page, high speed forms that don't require Web re-loading between pages or plug-ins to display the forms.

Surveys can be published to any Web server, though Quask provides Web hosting facilities if required (at a small cost), and forms can be deployed by email, 'pop-up' window or embedded into a company's Web page. No server database is required and all that is needed to get up and running on FormArtist is a PC, an internet connection and access to a Web server. Data, stored in FormArtist's local database, is easily exported to Excel to produce reports containing statistics, tables, bar charts, graphs, etc. Alternatively, FormArtist supports HTML, CSV, SPSS, Snap, ODBC and other formats for data analysis.

FormArtist Standard additional features include the ability to store acquired data automatically in a database and to create reports, analysis and statistics for Excel automatically. FormArtist Professional integrates with databases and third party Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software (ACT!, GoldMine and Microsoft CRM) so, for example, sales response forms can be fed directly into a company's database for rapid response to enquiries. The Enterprise edition features advanced server-side components based on .NET and SQL-Server, and is used by organisations requiring a developer interface and good integration of the data collected from FormArtist forms with their own internal systems.
