WebSleuth gathers, organizes, analyzes, and presents on-line information from multiple search engines simultaneously (currently more than 26 ). With WebSleuth you can easily, rapidly (up to 20 times faster than the competition) , and accurately sift through mountains of information. Through its multitasking capabilities, WebSleuth automatically builds a cross-referenced index of words and phrases, a table of contents, and a text summary of each URL link related to your query. It lets you "preview" web pages and web sites without spending "wasted" time downloading unwanted information from the Internet. WebSleuth also offers a variety of information viewing options and refining features to make it easier and faster to find exactly what you want. After launching a search, WebSleuth analyzes each document and URL, filters out duplicates and empty sites, and assigns relevant items to the Table of Contents view and irrelevant items to the Discards view as the results come in. The relevant documents are cross-indexed for key words and phrases and when you click on a document in the Contents view, WebSleuth instantly displays a text excerpt of the document in the Preview window. Having found an interesting URL, you just need to double click the Table of Contents entry to load and view the web page in the browser. WebSleuth has three display windows which are titled Control: Information, and Preview. The Control window has a menu bar and a tool bar. It is here that the user specifies the search criteria and configuration preferences. The results of the initiated search are displayed in the Information window. It is at the bottom of this window where the user can choose view tabs which include : Contents, Words, Phrases, Links, and Discards. The Contents view lists analyzed documents and their URL's, which are placed in their order of relevance. When the user clicks on the "+" next to a document's header, the search terms will be displayed in Context. By now switching to the Preview Window, the user can read the text excerpt of the URL which WebSleuth has generated using patented, linguistic technology. The Words and Phrases views display cross-indexed lists of alphabetized key terms and concepts. By selecting a word or phrase, WebSleuth will display a list of all URL's which contain it. Upon choosing the Link option, the user will see the relevant documents displayed in a 'tree structure". The "tree structure" can be expanded to reveal each document's URL links. These links can at anytime be added to your search results. WebSleuth allows you to refine any search. You can refine your search topic an unlimited number of times to provide you with even greater accuracy and satisfaction. No other program provides this flexibility, ease of use, and accuracy. And finally, WebSleuth simultaneously works with all languages based on the Latin alphabet which means that you can search other languages just as easily as English. WebSleuth will cut hours off of your search time by getting you the right information in record time. Its like having your own personal search assistant right on your desktop. WebSleuth applies the best of machine and human intelligence, while "thinking" about your informational query. WebSleuth will pay for itself the first time that you use it.
