  • Dial Access Number
  • E-mail address
  • Sprint Internet Passport password
  • Sprint Internet Passport Login ID

A README file has been included on your Sprint Internet Passport CD.

  • Windows® 3.1 users can find it here: D:\WIN3.1\DISK5\README.TXT (where D:\ represents the drive letter of your CD-ROM drive).
  • Windows® 95 users can access the file by clicking on Start, clicking on Run, typing D:\WIN.95\DISK5\README.TXT (where D:\ represents the drive letter of your CD-ROM drive) and then clicking OK.

Your software will automatically search for and attempt to identify your modem. However, if Setup encounters difficulties, you may need to identify your modem manually. See the README file for more information.

Be sure to verify your pricing plan.

Be sure your registration address matches your credit card billing address. If your credit card company uses ZIP+4, it is important that you include the extra 4 digits.

If you live in an area where local calls can span two or more area codes (common in cities located on state borders), you may want to modify the 1+ Area Code settings in your dialer. See the README file for more information.

Please review all the numbers available to help ensure your modem dialer is configured to dial a local number. If you are unsure if a number is a local call, check with your local telephone company. Please note that in some areas, a call may be considered long distance, even though dialing "1" or "0" is not required.
