Configuration...                               
 This command displays the Configuration dialog box.
 Choose the options you want to configure from this box.

 Choose Screen to display the Screen dialog box where you can
 specify:
  . Screen colors
  . The use of graphical controls
  . That the menu bar is always displayed
  . That the path prompt is displayed
  . That the key bar is displayed
  . That the Commander panels cover the full screen
  . That a clock is displayed at the top of the screen

 Choose Panel Options to display the Panel Options dialog box
 where you can specify:
  . That hidden files are displayed on the screen
  . That the insert key moves down to select another file
  . That directories are selected when you use *.* (or any
    wildcard specification) to select files
  . That a highlighted directory is automatically selected, and
    the contents displayed in the other panel
  . That the user menu is automatically displayed each time
    you run the Norton Commander
  . That the mini status line is displayed at the bottom of the
    screen

 Choose Screen Savers to specify which screen saver you
 want to use with the Norton Commander.

 Choose Printer/Mouse to specify:
  . The printer port you want to use
  . The type of printer attached to your system
  . A left handed mouse
  . Fast mouse reset for a serial mouse

 Choose Editor to specify that an external editor is invoked
 when you press F4. The Norton Commander editor is the default
 editor.

 Choose Confirmations to specify confirmation before
 copying, moving or deleting files and directories, and before
 exiting the Norton Commander.

 Choose Compression to specify the storage method you want to
 use, and whether or not you want to password protect files
 compressed using Commander compression.

  Note:  Check the Auto save setup check box to automatically
         save the configuration. You can manually save your
         configuration at any time by pressing Shift+F9.
