Sort order for files
If you are displaying the directory panes in either full or
brief format you can choose the display order of the files
 from the Left/Right menus:

Name Sort files alphabetically by name.
Extension Sort files alphabetically by extension.
Files with the same extension are sorted
                  alphabetically.
Time Sort files by time, with the most recent
files first. Files with the same time are
                  sorted alphabetically.
Size Sort files by size, with the largest files
first. Files of the same size are sorted
                  alphabetically.
Unsorted Show the files in the same order as the DOS
                  "dir" command shows the files.

  Notes:
. Directories always appear first in the directory panel
(unless you've selected the Unsorted option).

. Directory names are always uppercase, and file names
        always lowercase:

                DIR_NAME A directory name
                file_name A file name

. If the appropriate panel (Left or Right) is either
switched off or isn't a file panel, selecting a sort
        order displays the file panel.
