Dreamcatcher Site Manager - Save Site Tree

  1. To save a Site Tree:
    1. Click the Save button on the Standard toolbar.
      Or, click on Save on the File menu.
      The Save As box is displayed.


    2. Accept the name or assign a new name and location for the file.
      Web Factory assigns a default site tree name and location.


      Note
      The default page name begins with SiteMap1.WFM. Each site tree is numbered sequentially (SiteTree2.WFM, SiteTree3.WFM, etc. as you save more site trees. The default extension is *.wfm The default location is the Web Factory "Myfiles" directory.

    3. Click on Save to return to the site tree windows.

  2. To re-use a site tree:
    1. Click on the Open button on the Standard toolbar.
      Or, select Open from the File menu.
      The Open box is displayed.

    2. You can edit or test an item or update the site tree.
      Refer to Update Site for information on updating the site tree; Test Item for information on testing a Web page from the Site Tree.
