Open

Displays the Open box, which allows you to select an existing file that you want to open. You may have as many files open at once as you want and as your computer's memory permits. Web Factory allows you to open files in any of the following file formats:

*.htm, *.htmlPlain text files saved to these file formats are considered "Web pages". They can be viewed in any Web browser and edited in Web Factory. Files of these types will open into a preview window, displaying the Web page as it will appear in either Netscape Navigator or Microsoft's Internet Explorer.
*.txt,
*.rtf
Import ASCII text files and Rich Text Format files created in an editor or word processing program. Web Factory converts any text formatting in the RTF file, such as bold and italic, into the correct HTML tag.
*.bmp, *.pcd, *.pcx, *.tga, *.tiff, *.wmfImages in any of these file formats can be opened in Web Factory for converting to file formats accepted by Web browsers. Files of these types will open in Web Factory Author.
With Web Factory Pro Image or the purchase of ImagEditor as a separate module, image files can be edited in the ImagEditor.
*.gif, *.jpgImages in either of these file formats are accepted by image-capable Web browsers, and can be opened in Web Factory Author.Web Factory also accepts variations of these file types, including transparent and interlaced gifs.
With Web Factory Pro Image or the purchase of ImagEditor as a separate module, image files can be edited in the ImagEditor.

*.galExension of a Web Factory created animated GIF library.

Close
Closes all windows open for the current file. If changes have been made since you last saved the file, Web Factory will ask if you want to save the changes.
Exit
Ends your current work session and closes Web Factory. You will be warned if any files or objects have been changed, and prompted to save changes to any open files.
