Create a Form |
Browse the Internet and you will see Web pages that contain areas that request reader feedback, let you place a product order, or select items from a list. These areas are called Forms. Forms are used to create fields for gathering information. The information gathered from a form is then sent to an Internet or your company's intranet CGI (Common Gateway Interface) script.
Web Factory lets you design the appearance of the form, but you need a CGI script to make the forms functional. Develop a CGI script, or contact someone who can design a CGI script, in order for the forms that you design in Web Factory to actually gather and do something with the data that you collect from the form.
To create a form:
Use the Web Factory Forms toolbar to create the following input fields:
