Using GoScript^® GSPlug-in for Netscape Navigator

Look at PostScript^® documents in a new and exciting way! The GSPlug-in for Netscape Navigator under Windows 95 allows you to display PostScript documents directly in your browser! No more waiting around to print on a PostScript printer! You can view the document directly; no paper wasted! Use our plug-in to zoom in (or zoom out) on the image and move around to see the fine details. Whether you are developing a web page ... browsing the Internet ... or accessing PostScript documents from your company's Intranet system, this plug-in provides you the functionality to easily put your PostScript documents in front of hundreds of users.

Testing the GoScript^® GSPlug-in

Once the plug-in is installed, Netscape will ask the plug-in to display embedded PostScript documents (or documents opened through Netscape's "open location" or "open file"). The image at the left is a PostScript document. What can you do now that you can see the image? Move the mouse cursor over the image and click with the right mouse button. You should see a menu appear. Now let's see what the menu items will let you do. Zoom in and Zoom out let you enlarge and shrink the image. When the image is enlarged, scroll bars will appear so you can move to the area of the image you wish to see. Fit In Window displays the full image within the frame. Transform allows the following transformations to the image: Mirror X, Mirror Y, Invert, Rotate Left 90°, Rotate Right 90°, Rotate 180°, and Restore Original.

Other options shown such as Next Page, Previous Page, First Page, Last Page, and Save As... are available in the Personal and Professional versions of GSPlug-in. For more information, choose About GoScript and/or Upgrade Info.
