SpeedNet increases your download speeds by up to 600%. Dial-up connections will usually see speed increase of about 100-200%, while higher speed connections such as cable modems, ISDN, 56K, and DSL will usually see increases of 200-600%. SpeedNet optimises Windows to allow for the maximum packet size, along with other settings in Windows to provide the maximum download speeds. SpeedNet works with Windows 95, 98 and NT. Windows 2000 users can use Windows 98 settings and will see the same type of speed increases. Settings for higher level connections are disabled in this version.
