SpeedMeter is the follow-up to PowerLogix's SpeedControl software. SpeedMeter indicates the Level 2 cache size (256K, 512K, 1MB) and cache diagnostic, Level 3 cache size (motherboard cache) and cache diagnostic, clock speed, bus speed, backside cache speed, G3 processor temperature, and PowerPC chip type (601, 603, 603e, 604, 604e, 750, and so on).
