Geo3D is a 3D metafile viewer that lets you navigate and manipulate QuickDraw-based 3D models. Geo3D relies on QuickDraw 3D technology to render 3DMF models; therefore, QuickDraw must be installed in order for Geo3D to work properly. (QuickDraw is bundled with the latest version of QuickTime.) 3DMF is a cross-platform file format that translates any 3D information, including object geometry, textures, lights, shaders, cameras, active renderers, material properties, and hierarchical information. Both text and binary formats are supported. Geo3D also can integrate with your browser using Internet Config and act as your primary 3DMF viewer while you're browsing online. Version 1.5 fixed bugs, improved image exporting capabilities, and added support for QuickDraw 3D file modes. Version 1.5.6 adds an improved animation format (increased precision, compact vs formatted option).
