This latest version of FreePPP has come out as a full release. Version 2.6.2 of FreePPP includes connection throughput performance enhancements along with numerous bug fixes for compatibility with the multitude of modems and configurations in use today. Version 2.6.2 is also fully OS 8-compatible. FreePPP setup has been revamped since Version 2.5v3 and features a more versatile interface for managing dialling configurations and monitoring the connection.
