Aladdin DropStuff 5.5 provides an easy way to compress files and adds additional expansion filters to Aladdin Stuffit, a separate product from Aladdin Systems. Whether you want to save hard drive space or send a file via email, Aladdin DropStuff will compress the file in a self-extracting format or a smaller format that requires Aladdin StuffIt Expander. Aladdin DropStuff also comes with its Expander Enhancer, which supports expansion of encrypted ZIP files, MIME-Base64-encoded files, and LHA-encoded files. Version 5.5 fixes many bugs, adds several enhancements, and is now OS 9-compatible.
