Starting/Controlling Playback

SABS includes a Playback specialized toolbar in the bottom of the main window.

You can use this toolbar to start, pause and stop the play back at any time. Regardless of the selected playing mode, SABS will always start playing from the first item in the list.

To start playback from an item other than the first, simply double click the desired item and SABS will start playing from that song.

This section of the Playback lets you choose from two different playback modes:

  • Continue SABS will play the songs in the same order as they appear in the list
  • Shuffle Without altering the order of the songs, SABS will play them in random order

You can also tell SABS what to do when all the songs are played:

  • Repeat ON
    • Continue mode SABS will start playing from the first songs again
    • Shuffle mode SABS will simply keep playing selecting the songs in random mode
  • Repeat OFF
    • Continue mode SABS will stop playing when no more songs are left to play
    • Shuffle mode SABS will stop playing when no more songs are left to play

NOTE: You may alter both the order and the songs in a Play List while SABS is playing.

NOTE: You can also change the playing order, or force it to jump to a desired song by using the Next and Prev buttons. You may also right click over a desired song and select either of these options: Play / Fade Out & Play to change SABS's playing sequence.

NOTE: Unless manually forced to, SABS will not repeat a song until all the songs are played and the Repeat switch is ON.
