Layer Objects

New shapes, images, and text objects are always added on top of other shapes. You can use the layer options in Twist to change how objects are layered.

 

The layering options are found under the Object menu. The four options are Bring To Front, Bring Forward, Send To Back, and Send Backward.

 

In this sample drawing, the blue star is selected. It is currently in front of the yellow and green stars and is behind the purple and red stars.

To move the selected object in front of all other page objects, go to the Object menu and choose Bring To Front.

 

The blue star in this example now shows in front of all other objects.

To move the selected object forward one object, go to the Object menu and choose Bring Forward.

 

In this example, the blue star is now in front of the purple star.

To move the selected object behind all other page objects, go to the Object menu and choose Send To Back.

 

The blue star in this example now shows behind all other objects.

To move the selected object back one object, go to the Object menu and choose Send Backward.

 

In this example, the blue star is now behind the green star.
