Contextual Menu: Text

Right-click (Windows) or Ctrl-click (Macintosh) a text object to see the contextual menu. Some items may be different or missing if the text object is part of a group or multiple selection.

 

Use the Cut, Copy, and Delete functions just like the buttons on the toolbar.

 

Choose the Duplicate option to create a copy of the text object. The copy will appear on the canvas as soon as you select this option.

 

Choose the Font option to see the Font Dialog.

 

Choose the Spell Check option to check the spelling of text in the text object.

 

Choose the Lock option to prevent any changes to the object. Choose the Unlock option to enable changes to the object.

 

Choose Bring To Front to move the text object in front of all other page objects.

 

Choose Bring Forward to move the text object forward one object at a time.

 

Chose Send to Back to move the text object behind all other page objects.

 

Choose Send Backward to move the text object back one object at a time.

 

Use the Flip Horizontal and Flip Vertical options to change the orientation of the text object.
