User Settings

Overview

You can customise DigiTV to your own viewing preferences by use of the settings section. As with all main DigiTV functions, you can access a subset of your preferences using the remote control, or the full set with the mouse:

Using the Remote Control

The preferences overlay can be activated from the remote by hitting the Menu button and selecting the Settings option.

The current state of the each preference is shown to the right of each option and can be changed by repeatedly selecting the item. The selections rotate so that when the list of options for the item is exhausted it returns to the first one.

All preferences are persistent, that is to say that the same preferences will be in place when you next start DigiTV even if the PC has been switched off.



Each of the settings has a one-to-one correspondence with its window settings counterpart, ie for each setting here, there is an identical setting in the Windows settings tabbed dialog box. Therefore, please see the Settings section for complete details on how each setting is used.

Using the Mouse

You can view and set any of the preferences using the mouse by dropping down the 'File' menu in the DigiTV menu bar (or if the menu bar has been hidden, by right-clicking in the DigiTV window to bring up the context menu) and clicking settings. Please see the Settings section for more details.
