A message says you should use another window for this cash receipt
This message is for your information only, and you can continue entering the receipt if you like. To ensure that the correct accounts are updated and your reports are accurate, however, it's best to use the window suggested by the message in most instances. For example, if you select a supplier card, the message may suggest that you use the Settle Returns & Debits window if you're recording a refund on a previous transaction. The Receive Money window is best suited for receipts that aren't related to any earlier transactions. For example, you could use this window to track the payment for a one-time service you provided to a walk-in customer.
Remember that it's not necessary to include a card on your transaction; including the card may make it easier to find the transaction or understand its purpose later on, however.
