Using the To Do List to record recurring transactions
In some circumstances you may not want to record recurring transactions using the To Do List. Your decision will depend on how much control you need over your transactions. One advantage of using the To Do List is that you can process several recurring transactions at once. If you choose to record recurring transactions using the To Do List window, however, remember that these transactions will be recorded automatically. If you need to review or change any parts of a transaction before it is recorded, click the zoom arrow to open the transaction in the transaction window.
If you're not sure whether you want to record a particular transaction using the To Do List, use the original transaction window to manually enter the transaction. This will give you better control over the transaction than you would have if you used the To Do List.
Refer to Using recurring transactions for more information about working with recurring transactions.
For specific instructions on using the To Do List, see To record a recurring transaction (To Do List).
