Some year-end tasks must be completed before you close a payroll year and begin a new one


Before you close the previous payroll year and begin the new one, you must print forms P11(NIC) and P11(PAYE), the P14 End of Year Summary, and the P35 report. You must also print and distribute a form P60 to every employee who was working for you at the end of your tax year.

You should always make a backup of your MYOB Accounting Plus company file after printing these forms and before closing the year. Once the year is closed, detailed payroll information is no longer available and P11, P14 and P35 forms and other reports can't be printed for that year. If you've made a backup, however, you can restore that backup and print these documents if necessary.
