Your reconciliation report shows uncleared transactions that don't appear in the Reconcile Accounts window
You probably entered a future Bank Statement Date by mistake when you reconciled these transactions. For example, you may have entered 07/05/04 for a group of transactions that actually cleared on 07/05/03. Your entry would cause these transactions to be reported as uncleared until 7 May 2004. To determine whether this is the problem, change the filters for your reconciliation report to include the Reconciled Date and run it again. Your new report will display all of the dates that you entered when you reconciled your account.
If you determine that you've accidentally reconciled a transaction with a future date, it's probably unnecessary to correct the transaction reconciliation dates as long as your account is in balance. When you reach the date for which these transactions were reported reconciled, they will automatically disappear from your reconciliation reports.
For more information about factors that can affect your reconciliation, refer to Reconciling bank accounts. For step-by-step instructions on performing reconciliations, see To reconcile an account. If you are reconciling your bank account for the first time, refer to Reconciling an account for the first time using Accounting Plus.
