Fixing errors in a sales transaction
Begin by displaying the transaction in the Sales window. You can do this by locating the transaction in the Sales Register window and double-clicking it.
The next steps you need to follow depend upon whether your transactions are changeable or unchangeable. If your transactions are changeable, simply make whatever changes are needed, then click Record. (Choosing changeable or unchangeable transactions)
If your transactions are unchangeable, choose Reverse Sale from the Edit menu. A transaction that undoes the effects of the original, incorrect transaction is displayed. Review it, make any necessary changes - you can change the invoice number, date, journal memo and Already Printed option if you like - and click the Record Reversal button. Then reenter the transaction with the necessary changes.
