Changing or deleting a comment, delivery method, referral source or payment method


Comments, delivery methods, referral sources and payment methods all can changed or deleted. Go to the Lists menu at the top of your screen and choose Sales and Purchases Information. A submenu will appear; choose the kind of information you want to change and the Sales and Purchases Information window will appear. Locate the comment or other item you want to change and highlight it. If you want to change the item, click Edit. To delete it, choose Delete <item> from the Edit menu.

Note that any change you make won't affect any transactions you've already recorded, but they may affect the default entries that appear on customer and supplier cards. Also, the comments and delivery methods are used for both sales and purchases transactions, and deleting them removes them from the Sales window and the Purchases window.
