How card IDs are used


Card IDs are optional. They simply provide another way for you to group or to quickly locate information in the Find Transactions window and on the Card Transactions Report.

You could use card IDs to group customers by neighbourhood, for example, or employees by department or function. For example, your salespeople could be given IDs of Salesperson 1; Salesperson 2, and so on. When you printed reports in the future, you could choose to view information only for salespeople 1 to 5.
