Delivering items to a location other than the one that's displayed
The address that appears by default when you begin a new sales transaction is the delivery address you entered for the selected customer in the Profile view of the Card Information window. You have several options if the customer wants you to deliver items to some other location.
- If the destination is an address you've recorded on the customer's card (using the Profile view of the Card Information window), click the arrow button that appears to the left of the delivery address, and choose the address you want from the list that appears.
- If you want the items to be drop-shipped to a customer or to somebody else for whom you've created a card, click the button that appears to the left of the address. Choose Another Card. When you choose Another Card, a list of all your cards appears, and you can choose the card you want. The address you entered for Address 1 will appear.
- If the address you want doesn't appear in your Card File, you can simply type the address in the Deliver To field. (If it's an address you expect to use again, you may want to add it to your Card File, to save you the effort of retyping it when you're entering sales later on.)
