Use this page to become acquainted with MYOB Help and use it effectively.
There are a number of ways you can open MYOB Help:
- By clicking the Help button in any window in your MYOB product
These buttons appear in the lower left corner of most windows. In a Command Centre window, click the question mark in the upper right corner of the window.
- By right-clicking in any window in your MYOB product
When you right-click in most windows, a menu appears with options. Two of the options are Help for This Window and Tell Me How; either option opens the help system.
- By choosing MYOB Plus Help from the Help menu
- By pointing your browser to help.myob.co.uk
Help on your computer or on the Web
We've made two versions of MYOB Help available to you: one that you can install on your computer, and one that's always available on the World Wide Web; you can integrate either version with your MYOB software (Choosing MYOB Help on your computer or on the Web)
System recommendations
- Internet access (if you wish to view the Web-based version of MYOB Help)
- Version 5 or higher of either Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape
MYOB Help Hints
- In some browsers, if no browser window is already open, MYOB Help doesn't open the first time you click a topic. If this happens in your browser, simply click again and MYOB Help will open.
- In Microsoft Internet Explorer you can select a preference that will insure that MYOB Help will open each topic you select in the same window. We recommend that you select the following preference: Reuse windows for launching shortcuts.
Without choosing this preference, every time you select a topic from the Tell Me How menu, for example, a new instance of the browser will open.
