What is Company File Activation?
Company file activation is a quick and easy procedure that protects your software licence against misuse through a seamless notification process in which your ownership information is verified from time to time. Is this the same as registering my product? No, you'll register your product first. If your product has not been registered prior to activating your company file, the activation process will include product registration. How often do I need to activate my company file? The activation process is required for each new company file you create. From time to time you will get a message asking you to confirm your company file(s) through the same simple procedure. Performing this procedure should take just a quick moment. How many company files may I activate? You may activate up to 5 company files through the online or telephone process. Should you wish to create more than 5 company files, please call our Customer Service team at 0845 130 3975 Monday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm. Is my company information secure during online Company File Activation? Yes. Please be assured that the online procedure sends only your serial number and confirmation code through the process. I don't have a serial number. How do I get one? When you purchase a full version of MYOB software, you receive a serial number. You can call 0845 130 3975 Monday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm to purchase your MYOB software and receive a serial number over the phone. Do I need to keep my confirmation code? If you received your confirmation code by phone, you need to record it so you can enter it into your MYOB software. Once your company file has been confirmed, you do not to keep this code.
