MYOB Help search tips
Use the tips below to make your search efforts more effective as you use the Search box that appears at the top of every MYOB Help page, including this one.
- Enter multiple terms with a space between them. MYOB Help will be searched for any instance of each term you enter.
- Search terms are not case sensitive. You can enter terms in any combination of upper and lower case.
- Terms can include any of the following characters: A-Z a-z 0-9 _ - . ' , $ %
- Place a plus sign (+) in front of each word that you want to appear in the results. For example, if you enter +account +types +changing, the pages that have all three words in them will be included in the results. Note that the three words may not necessarily be adjacent to each other, but they will be in the same page.
- Place a minus sign (-) in front of words that you do not want to appear in the results. For example, if you enter +account +types -changing, the pages that have the words "printer" and "cartridge", but not "changing". will be included in the results.
- Common words (a, an, the, etc.) are excluded from the search index.
- If your search doesn't yield the results you want, try varying your search terms. For example, if you enter account and don't see the topic you want, try using accounts. Similarly, you might try alternate terms, such as profit and loss statement instead of income statement.
