More On Searching

Before doing a search it is always a good idea to click "Reset" on the search menu. This will clear the contents of the search fields .

USING THE INDEX

The index feature is a useful tool when you do not know the exact name or street.

The search criteria covered by the index feature are as listed below.

Individual Criteria - Surname, Forename

1. Clear all information from the search boxes by using the reset button.

2. As soon as you enter information the index list will change to reflect your entry

3. You can scroll the immediate list of records from you entry but you cannot scroll through the entire index.

4. Once you have found the required entry double click on it to place it in the search box.

5. If you want to do another index search clear the entry from the search box.
