Running a Setup

Running a setup works exactly the same as running a game. Go to Profile / Run Setup. The setup program will now start in DOSBox.

·	Advantages of configuring a setup

Many 'newer' dos games have a setup program that allows to configure sound (very common), key setup, etc. If you configure a setup for the game profile then D-Fend will be able to start the game's setup program in the exact same environment as the game itself. That means that if you configure the sound in the game's setup program and it works. Then it's very likely the sound will work in the game as well.

However you must first configure a games setup before you can run it. To select a games setup program edit the profile (Profile / Edit Profile) then browse for the game's setup program in the Profile Tab.
