Changing Dynamic Options

DOSBox is an on going project. D-Fend always support the latest official release. That doesn't mean that newer (unofficial) versions of DOSBox don't appear regularly. They do and newer versions often differ in configuration. This is where Dynamic Options come in. D-Fend allows you configure (some) options that are hard coded into the interface.

A picture says a thousand words so here's an example. Open the Configure Options screen by going to Extra / Configure Options
The following screen pops up.

In the image above I selected scale. The values on the right are the values shown by the selection menu's in D-Fends editors and Wizard. e.g. Say I add a value Example.

I press the Save button to save these options and I close the screen by pressing the X mark. Next I open the Default Configuration. See the image below.

A you can see my new Scaler example is now part of the list of selectable items! These same if true for every editor in D-Fend including the Wizard.

This is the purpose of Dynamic Options. If you make a mistake and you want to go back to the original values press the Restore Defaults button.
