About Deleting Users

Note: Deleting users from the Management Server only deletes the users from the Management Server, not from the directory server.

Typically, as users are removed from a domain, Active Directory, or LDAP server, you will want to remove them from the Management Server. You can use the Show Removed Users buttons on the Domain Users and LDAP Users tabs to query the users list and display any users that have been removed from the directory server.

The most convenient way to perform this task is to set up automatic synchronization so that the user list is up to date when you query the directory server. That way, when you click Show Removed Users, a list of users is displayed immediately.
