Page Style

You can affect how Web pages appear by supplementing the original style with your own.

Defaults

Opera has a special feature that can zoom entire Web pages to make them more readable. If you want a standard zoom other than the normal 100%, specify it here.

Tip: Zoom individual pages by clicking the triangle next to the field that says "100%" on the Address bar.

You can also make Web pages appear in your own style by default.

Frames

If you disable frames, the biggest frame in the page will be displayed.

If you disable in-line frames, alternative text will be displayed in place of in-line frames.

Tip: To see how a framed page is constructed, enable frame borders in Preferences, then click somewhere in the page to see the frames.

Tip: Right-click a frame and select Frame for multiple choices.

Presentation modes

Author mode lets you see the Web page as the author intended, while user mode lets you view the page in your own style.

Each mode contains a set of preferences. Switch between the two sets by clicking the style button on the Address bar.

Usually you will change settings for your own mode (user mode), but you can also change the settings in author mode.

The following preferences can be enabled for each mode:

Page CSS Use the style sheet on the page
Page font and color Use fonts and colors set by markup language

My fonts and color Use your fonts and colors (specified in Fonts preferences)
