Tweak-XP can:

• optimize your Internet connection speed: No matter if you're using a modem, an ISDN or a Cable/ DSL connection - Tweak-XP will optimize the connection speed. This will result in an increasement of download speeds from 33% to 50% (depending on your hardware configuration). For example: on a DSL connection up to 50% faster downloads! There are predefined optimization scripts available for the most common Internet-Service-Providers (ISP). Just select your ISP and your hardware: Tweak-XP will optimize all settings to your satisfaction.

• tweak your hardware: Tweak-XP includes hardware tweaks for the most common CPUs and display adapters. Also included: a System-Optimization Wizard. The Tweak-XP System-Optimization Wizard offers a 'One-Mouseclick' system performance optimization. Without browsing through hundreds of registry settings and tweaks you can easily improve the all-in-all performance of your computer. Let Tweak-XP do the work of setting the best tweaks for your machine!
• optimize the physical RAM of your machine: The longer your machine was not rebooted, lot's of unneeded programm libraries, parts of closed programs do remain in memory. Windows will get slower and slower since it does not have any more free RAM to access. The last consequence is that Windows can't start any new application. Tweak-XP helps you to reclaim as much RAM as possible just by one mouseclick and you can start more applications without having to reboot the system.
• censor the execution of applications: You specify which applications are not allowed to be executed on your computer. Leave your machine unattended - just set Tweak-XP to control the executions of software installed on your machine.
• protect any folder on your harddisc and hide its content: just choose a folder and Tweak-XP will hide its content from Windows Explorer.
• create virtual discdrives: just choose a folder and Tweak-XP turn it into a virtual discdrive.
• control what is started on Windows startup: A lot of programs are started automatically on each Windows startup. Sometimes such autostart commands are hidden in the windows registry. • convert your compressed folders to selfextracting .exe files: .zip your files and Tweak-XP creates selfextracting .exe files from your .zip files - perfect to compress documents and to uncompress them on machines where no unzipping utility is available - just execute the selfextracting file and your files will be uncompressed !

• synchronize your system time to an atomic clock: Connect to the internet and adjust your system time and date to the time data received from an atomic clock !
• Tweak your Internet Explorer: Add your own animation or skin the toolbar of Internet Explorer. Resort your favorites, change the Internet Explorer Window Title and a lot more ...
• display the internet history files and remove them: This ensures that nobody can check what internet sites you've visited. There's also an option included to remove internet cookies.
• block internet banner ads: Increase your internet surf-speed by blocking banner ads - Tweak-XP comes with a predefined list of ad-servers it will block ads from - ads will not be loaded anylonger to Internet Explorer and your surf speed will increase!
• block Internet Explorer Pop-Ups: The Tweak-XP Internet Explorer Pop-Up blocker will automatically stop Internet Explorer Pop-Ups. Once activated, Tweak-XP will scan new instances of Internet Explorer for known pop-up phrases or servers - if it finds a pop-up window of Internet Explorer, it will immediately close that instance of Internet Explorer.
• tweak lots of hidden Windows XP settings, you usually cannot change: Customize the Windows XP startmenu, tweak lots of desktop settings, make the Windows XP taskbar transparent, enable several hidden performance options of Windows XP ... and a lot more ... too much to list here 
• rename hundreds of files just by one mouseclick.
• generate passwords as easy as possible
• destroy files securely - your sensitive data can now easily be destroyed by just one mouseclick. They can't be recovered as Tweak-XP overwrites them several times!
• find unnecessary files on your harddisc: temporary files, old backup files and a lot more will be found on your system by Tweak-XP. Increase the speed of your harddisc by removing unnecessary files!
• edit the list of installed software: by using Tweak-XP you can easily edit the list of software installed on your machine (Add/remove software control panel). Remove aentries that were left behind by incorrect uninstalled applications of edit your uninstaller settings and titles.
