Waiting for Players

The Waiting for Players window appears any time you begin a new game. Empty chairs at the table show how many spots are open. As players join the game, their avatars appear in the empty chairs.

After enough players have joined the game, the player who started the game clicks the OK button.

Players can click the cancel button to quit the game before it starts. If the player who created the game clicks cancel, the game disappears.

The three areas of the Waiting for Players window are the table display, the chat area, and the player list.

Table Display
This is where you see the table, players' avatars, and open seats. The size of the table and number of empty seats will vary for different types of games. For example, if you're starting a draft there will be a long table with eight chairs at it.

Chat Area
If you type a message in the chat area, only players who've joined the game will see what you type. The players who've joined the game are shown by the avatars at the table and the player list on the right side of the window.

See Chatting with Other Players for more information.

Player List
This is the list of players who've joined the game.
