Thumbnail

Create thumbnail images in addition to the destination image. Useful for generating thumbnail images to use on the web.

Thumbnail Size will reduce the image size so that the largest dimension (width or height) equals the specified size in pixels.

Thumbnail Type Specifies an image type to save the thumbnail as. Same as Destination will save the thumbnail to the same type as the destination image.

Thumbnail Filename will add append a suffix and/or prefix to the destination image filename.

JPEG Quality allows the thumbnail image, if it's a JPEG, to have a quality independent of the destination JPEG.

Checking Decimate will use a pixel averaging algorithm to reduce the size of the image. This might eliminate fine lines in an image, but in general produces higher quality reductions.

Specify Special Output Folder allows the thumbnail image to be saved in a different folder then the destination image output folder. You may choose to specify a relative folder by checking Relative Folder. A relative folder will start at the output folder for the destination image. For example, "Thumbnails\" will save, or create a directory called Thumbnails in the output folder.

Do not save destination image will only save the thumbnail if checked. Selecting this will turn off saving the image in the output settings.
