Use the Control Sound action to play or stop a sound. For example, you might want to play a sound effect whenever the user rolls over a link, or you might want to play a music clip when the page loads and let the user stop the music by clicking a button.
Note: Browsers may require the LiveAudio plugin or equivalent to play sounds.
To use the Control Sound action:
1 | Follow steps 1 through 3 of the procedure in Attaching a behavior. |
2 | Select Control Sound from the Actions pop-up menu. |
3 | Do one of the following: |

To use the action to play a sound, enter the path and file name of a sound file in the Play Sound field, or click the Browse button to select a file. |

To use the action to stop a sound, select the Stop Sound action and then choose a sound file from the adjacent pop-up menu. |
4 | Click OK. |
5 | Check that the default event is the one you want. |
If it isn't, select another event from the pop-up menu. If the events you want are not listed, change the target browser in the Events For pop-up menu. | |
