Library item properties

Use library item properties to specify the source file of an item and to make it editable or to re-create it after editing. Double-click a library item to open the Property inspector.

Src Displays the file name and location of the source file for the library item.

Open Opens the source file for the library item.

Make Editable Breaks the link between the selected library item and its source file. The content of the library item becomes editable, but this instance of the item can no longer be updated by the Library update functions.

Recreate Overwrites the original library item with the current selection. Use this option to re-create library items if the library file isn't present, the item's name has been changed, or if the item has been edited.
