About Frame and Frameset properties

Two sets of properties control the appearance and properties for frame documents.

Frame properties determine the frame name, source file, margins, scrolling, and resizing for individual frames within a frameset.
Frameset properties control the dimensions of the frames and the color and width of the borders between frames.

(Choose Window > Properties to display the Property inspector if it isn't already open.) See Frames overview for more information about frames.

To view frame properties, do one of the following:

Alt-click (Windows) or Shift-Option-click (Macintosh) a frame.
Click a frame in the Frame inspector.
See Frame properties.

To view frameset properties, do one of the following:

Click a frame border in the Document window.
Click the border enclosing the frames in the Frame inspector.
See Frameset properties.
